EMAIL UPDATES
It is my intention to send you a reminder a week before your day to post.
I will also be publishing a periodic update and synopsis of the tour on this site, so you can see how the tour is progressing.
BLOG TOUR OPTIONS
As a part of the blog tour, you have a couple options on how to participate.
OPTION ONE: (recommended) Post a personal interview with Brenda on your website. Include a link to Brenda’s website and a link to the blogger scheduled directly before and after you on the tour. Submit your questions (up to seven) to Brenda by a week before your posting date. OPTION TWO: Post one of five canned interviews (or a combination of them, if you prefer) with Brenda on your website. We highly recommend personalizing the post in some way so that the tour does not become rote. This may include adding your own commentary or experience, combining various questions from the interviews, or posting only part of the canned interview. Click here to see a SAMPLE POST.
ADDITIONAL OPTION
For those of you with active discussions on your blog, Brenda is willing to participate in the comments section by answering questions from your readers for one week from your posting date. If you’d like to offer this opportunity to your readers, please let us know so she can be sure to check back often. She commits to answering all questions within 48 hours.
LINKING TO OTHER HOSTS
Below are some additional ways you can select to help promote the tour itself and drive additional traffic to the blog tours sites. We would really appreciate it if you selected at least one of these options and have tried to make it simple for you by providing the HTML code for you to copy and paste.
1) At the end of your post, include a link to the blogger scheduled the day before your post and the day after. For the stop before yours, if you are able to link directly to the post, that would be great. Otherwise, a link to the blog home page is fine. A sample of this might be the following: Please be sure to visit Brenda’s next stop on January 8th at 5 Minutes for Mom by Jennifer Donovan. You can also check out her previous stop at Simplifying Motherhood by Trish Berg. HTML Code: Please be sure to visit Brenda’s next stop on <b>January 8th</b> at <a href=”http://5minutesformom.com”>5 Minutes for Mom</a> by Jennifer Donovan. You can also check out her previous stop at <a href=”http://simplifyingmotherhood.blogspot.com”>Simplifying Motherhood</a> by Trish Berg. 2) At the end of your post, include a link to all of the bloggers scheduled on the tour. 3) Leave comments on the other blogs who are hosting Brenda.
TROUBLESHOOTING HTML CODE
Be sure to check all of your links once you have posted them. If a HYPERLINK is not working, first try retyping all of the quotation marks. For some reason, when you cut and paste them from this site they look funny. Some blogging platforms have trouble reading those quotation marks and don’t know what to do with them. Also, make sure you have an opening and closing quotation mark around the entire link. If a TAG (like bold, underline, etc) is not working or the HYPERLINK is still not working, check to make sure you remembered to close the tag. This should appear at the end of the word or section you are coding: </command>, where “command” = b for bold, u for underline, a for an ahref (hyperlink), etc. If you are still having trouble, please send me an email. I’ll see what I can do to help you.
QUESTIONNAIRE
Please email back your responses to me ASAP, and no later than DEC 23RD. 1) Does your assigned date work for you? If not, please let me know a couple alternate dates. 2) Please verify for me on which blog(s) you’ll be posting. 3) Would you like Brenda to participate in your comments section by answering questions from your readers? 4) Any other questions or issues?

If you are interested in me coordinating your next blog tour, please email me and let’s talk.
If you would like to be notified about participating in other blog tours, email me and I will add you to my database. It would be helpful if you also told me what in types of tours you are interested (fiction, non-fiction, specific topic, any…).
